Facts on broncolor Para
▪ No other light shaper gives bodies, faces and products so much vividness and a three-
dimensional look like an original broncolor Para.
▪ Four different sizes are available to cover any application, typical applications are beauty,
portrait and fashion photography, but also in still life photography (e.g. food) the Para
light shapers are frequently used.
▪ Para HR: 88 and 133 are available as HR Version. HR stands for “heat resistant”. The
apex zone in these models is made of a special heat-resistant material and can stand a
maximum output of 2000 W. Required for HMI and tungsten use only. The Para 177 and
222 can be used with HMI as well; through the larger distance between lamp and reflector
no specific material is required.
▪ The distinctive and very resilient design with 24 segments - covered with a tear-resistant
textile reflector material - ensures a long service life. The highly specialized material
inside of the Para guarantees a best-in-class reflection grade as well as a crisp and
homogenous lighting.
▪ The position of the lamp is always in the centre of the reflector to guarantee best possible
illumination both in the focused and defocused position.
▪ An easy to use focusing device allows to form a complete range of light characteristics,
from a soft cloud of light to spot-like.
▪ Patented opening and tension system for an easy and fast setup and disassembly:
Para 88 and 133 have four iconic handles, the Para 177 and 222 come with a crank.
▪ Wide selection of accessories like additional diffusers and light grids as well as adapters
for non-broncolor lamps.
